ART PORTFOLIO PREPARATION AND ADULT CLASSES:

The Art Academy at Caprali Studio is located in a private art studio based in Miami that helps students impress admissions committees at private high schools, colleges and Ivy League Universities through art and still the leader in art portfolio preparation. Our students have been successfully admitted at top schools like PRAT, SVA, Parsons, Cooper Union School of Art, Maryland School Of Architecture, CalArts School of Animation, New World School of Art.

Special Art Classes
You will see positive results in one month. Guaranteed! Only 5 students per session.

DRAWING
In this class, students will learn the basics of drawing. Through use of line, shape, mass, space, texture and color and drawing concepts like contour drawing, gesture drawing and negative shape drawing, students will experience how these visual art elements and concepts transform into art that can effect us emotionally, physically, psychologically and intellectually. This class is designed to afford the student a strong foundation in basic drawing concepts.  A variety of materials will be used for the purpose of experiencing how their personalities can influence content.  Class critiques will help students to verbalize the relationships between the real world with the world of drawing.
 
PAINTING
In this class, students will paint from life with the objective of building and strengthening visual observation and technical understanding of materials. We will pay special attention to composition, color and light/shadow. We will paint from still life, the figure, and landscape, using acrylic paint.

3:30pm - 6:00pm
4:00pm - 6:30pm
6:00pm - 8:30pm
Prices and Packages:  2 1/2 hours long.
 
Wednesdays: Wine and Art Night! bring your own booze
Come join us from 7:00pm to 9:30pm for a very relaxing painting session at the studio, bring your own booze. For 21 and older!
 
4 classes - $200.00 (once a week)
11 classes - $400.00 (twice a week) 
 

*Payments are made in the first class, there will be a $20.00 penalty for late payments. *We accept Cash, Checks and Credit Cards (except American Express) *All checks are made to Caprali Art Studio *Classes packages are to be used in within 3 months.
